Manuel De Falla’s El Amor Brujo [Love By Sorcery]
Well known as a ballet, this haunting work was originally a “gitaneria,”
or gypsy musica. Our new take has Candelas, a fearless Spanish gypsy, confronting her inner demons as embodied by the ghost of her faithless and abusive lover. The music is obsessively unforgettable.
Candelas: Anamer Castrello - Ghost: Kyle Lang - Candelas’ former self: Heidi Kershaw
Alan Paul, Director - Carlos Rodríguez, Music Director & Pianist - Jaime Coronado, Choreographer
