Washington DC (August 9th, 2010) — The In Series proudly announces its 10th Anniversary Season — and 29th year overall, incorporated, independent, and in the heart of the DC metropolitan area. The curtain rises September 18th at The In Series’ 14th St. home, the newly renovated Source, with a double bill of American “pocket” opera: Leonard Bernstein’s Trouble In Tahiti and William Bolcom and Arnold Weinstein’s Casino Paradise (opening Sept. 18 and running through Oct 2nd). Washington DC (May 3, 2010) – The In Series announces Swingtime: The Fabulous Forties, the premiere of a musical written and directed by Tom Mallan, with acclaimed jazz pianist, arranger and bandleader Burnett Thompson at the musical helm. Opening Saturday May 29, this first run of the show lists 8 performances at the Atlas PAC, with a return engagement planned for December.
